maintenance programme

Uzabus uses Coach Manager’s Vehicle Maintenance System to organise activities. A maintenance programme is in place which reflects the servicing needs of this fleet operating in this district. This programme incorporates:

– daily inspections by drivers
– faults notified to workshop by drivers
– odometer readings collected periodically
– Vehicle-specific servicing completed according to manufacturer specifications.

certificate of fitness checks

Vehicles are subject to a Certificate of Fitness check every six months. A copy of each check is reviewed and retained by School Admin. Failures are subject to further investigation by School Admin. Expiry dates and results are recorded on the Fleet Register and tabled at Committee meetings.

monitoring activities

Maintenance processes are audited by the Ministry of Education on a regular basis. Audits reports are obtained and reviewed by School Admin and reported to the Committee.

Compliance with key activities (e.g. torque wrench calibration) is monitored by School Admin via the EF56 monitoring system.
