This emergency route design combines the R12 and R14 routes.
Morning service
The route first follows the R14 route plan, starting 20mins earlier than normal. It then completes the R12 route in reverse order – Poripori Road then Ruahihi Road.

afternoon service
This bus follows the normal R14 route plan, starting 10mins early. The bus then travels to Tauranga Crossing, arriving in time to meet the other buses. Students from St Mary’s and Tauranga Boys College will be collected by the R11 service. Then bus then follows the R12 route from Tauranga Crossing, operating at the normal time.
Please note: you may not have your usual driver delivering this service. Please ensure that you are waiting at the bus stop in good time and be prepared to wave down the driver. On afternoon services, students should be ready to let the driver know when their stop is coming up – older students can assist younger students with this. Parents can help by waiting at the stop and flagging down the bus as it approaches.
