Western routes

These routes provide a service to students living west of Tauranga beyond the Wairoa River. A transfer point in Bethlehem exchanges students between buses to get to their school of choice.

R16 AM – Whakamarama to Otumoetai College
This route collects students living in Whakamarama, Sinclair, Ross and Youngson Roads. It then travels to the Carmichael Road transfer point before heading to Otumoetai College.

R16 PM – Otumoetai to Whakamarama
This route commences in Otumoetai and travels to the Kmart transfer point. It then travels to Whakamarama, going along Barrett, Whakamarama, Sinclair, Ross and Youngson Roads.

R17 AM – Pahoia to TBC and TIS
This route commences at Pahoia School and travels along Youngson Road and Barrett Road. From there it travels to the Carmichael Road transfer point, before heading to Tauranga Boys’ College and Tauranga Intermediate.

R17 PM – Tauranga to Pahoia via Bethlehem
This route commences at Tauranga Intermediate and travels to Tauranga Boys’ College and the Carmichael Road transfer point. From there it heads to Pahoia and then back along Old Highway to Barrett Road.

R18 AM – Wairoa and Minden to Tauranga Girls’ via Bethlehem
This route collects Tauranga Girl’s and Tauranga Boys’ College students living on Wairoa, Crawford, Junction and Minden Roads. It then travels to the Carmichael Road transfer point before heading to Tauranga Girls’ College.

R18 PM – TGC to Wairoa and Minden
This route travels from Tauranga Girls’ College to the Carmichael Road transfer point. From there it travels up Wairoa Road to Crawford Road, then Junction Road and Minden Road.

R20 AM – Te Puna to TBC and TGC
This route provides a service to students living in Te Puna and attending Tauranga Boys’ College and Tauranga Girls’ College.

R20 PM – TIS, TGC and TBC to Te Puna
This route travels from Tauranga Intermediate to Tauranga Girl’s College and then Tauranga Boys’ College. Tauranga Intermediate students disembark in Bethelehem and the secondary students are delivered to Te Puna.

R21 AM – Te Puna to Otumoetai College
This route provides a service for Outmoetai College students living in Te Puna.

R21 PM – Otumoetai to Te Puna
This route provides a service to Otumoetai College students living in Te Puna.

R22 AM – Omokoroa and Plummer’s Point to Otumoetai
This route provides a service for students living in Omokoroa north of Western Ave, and Plummer’s Point.

R22 PM – Otumoetai to Plummer’s Point and Omokoroa
This route provides a service to students living in Plummer’s Point and the northern part of Omokoroa, beyond Western Avenue.

R23 AM – Omokoroa and Plummer’s Point to TIS and Tauranga Girls’
This route provides a service to Tauranga Intermediate and Tauranga Girls’ College students that live in Omokoroa and Plummer’s Point.

R23 PM – TIS and Tauranga Girls’ to Omokoroa
This route begins and Tauranga Intermediate and travels to Tauranga Girls’ College. From there it travels to Plummers Point and then Omokoroa.

R24 AM – Omokoroa and Plummer’s Point to TBC
This route provides a service to Tauranga Boys’ College students living in Omokoroa and Plummer’s Point.

R24 PM – TBC to Plummers Point and Omokoroa
This route commences at Tauranga Boys’ College and travels to Plummers Point and then Omokoroa.

This route does not travel via the Bethlehem transfer point.

R25 AM – Omokoroa to Otumoetai
This route travels from Omokoroa to Otumoetai along the following roads:

Barrett Road > Old Highway > Younsgon Road > Omokoroa Road > Hamurana Road.

R25 PM – Otumoetai to Omokoroa
This route travels from Otumoetai to Omokoroa, via the following roads:

Barrett Road > Old Highway > Youngson Road > Omokoroa Road > Kayelene Place bus shelter > Omokoroa Road > Hamurana Road.
