maintenance programme
Uzabus uses Coach Manager’s Vehicle Maintenance System to organise activities. A maintenance programme is in place which reflects the servicing needs of this fleet operating in this district. This programme incorporates:
– daily inspections by drivers
– faults notified to workshop by drivers
– odometer readings collected periodically
– Vehicle-specific servicing completed according to manufacturer specifications.

Vehicles are subject to a Certificate of Fitness check every six months. A copy of each check is reviewed and retained by School Admin. Failures are subject to further investigation by School Admin. Expiry dates and results are recorded on the Fleet Register and tabled at Committee meetings. Learn more about CoFs here
monitoring activities
Maintenance processes are audited by the Ministry of Education on a regular basis. Audits reports are obtained and reviewed by School Admin and reported to the Committee.
Compliance with key activities (e.g. torque wrench calibration) is monitored by School Admin via the EF56 monitoring system.
BoT review: Board members can audit School Admin’s performance of these functions by sample checking vehicle servicing records against the Fleet Register.
