Eligibility
To be eligible for a ride on the school bus your family needs to live beyond the limits of the Regional Council’s Schoolhopper bus service. To view Schoolhopper routes, please click here.
Fare-paying students
The Ministry of Education funds our bus service, but only provides enough funding for students to attend their nearest school. This means that the Group needs to charge a fare to students that are not travelling to their nearest school. For TBC students, this means everyone west of the Wairoa River as all students in this area are actually closer to Otumoetai College. More information on fares can be found here.
